▌Battle Strategy
Each Champion Expedition Boss has 20 difficulty levels. From current experience, Levels 1–10 are relatively easy, with the challenge gradually increasing afterward. The following lineup recommendations focus on the stages where difficulty starts to ramp up. In the early stages, when battles are still manageable, you can simply use your main story or tower progression team. Refer to the setups below once you start hitting a wall.
The Champion Expedition features Bosses that correspond to specific Factions. Using the recommended Faction in your formation allows you to effectively counter each Boss's mechanics. In this mode, leveraging Faction traits is often more effective than simply stacking power. Currently, there are three Bosses: Titanborn, Phoenix, and Weaver Queen, corresponding to the Elemental Echo, Arcane Wisdom, and Sanctum Glory factions. Let's take the Weaver Queen as an example to illustrate how to use the matching Faction to counter her skill mechanics.
The Weaver Queen's core mechanic revolves around spawning [Spider Eggs] on the battlefield. These [Spider Eggs] continuously grant buffs to the Boss while inflicting debuffs on your team. The buffs include extra damage, higher crowd-control probability, and additional control effects on your units. Meanwhile, the debuffs cause your team to take more damage and suffer reduced physical defense. As the difficulty increases, it becomes nearly impossible to win without eliminating the [Spider Eggs]. The only way to cleanse them is by using the Sanctum faction's exclusive [Blessing Buff] to purify the eggs.
